Dr Kelvin Ch’ng
Chief Executive Officer,
Gleneagles Hospital Kota Kinabalu
Dr Kelvin Ch’ng is the Chief Executive Officer of Gleneagles Hospital Kota Kinabalu and Timberland Medical Centre, overseeing operations and expansion plans for these IHH Healthcare Malaysia hospitals in East Malaysia.
Dr Kelvin has over 17 years’ experience in healthcare.
He joined Pantai Hospital Penang as a medical officer in 2012 and was promoted to Head of Medical Affairs and Quality in 2015, and subsequently to Operations Manager in 2017.
In 2018, he advanced to the role of Chief Operating Officer at Pantai Hospital Laguna Merbok, where he oversaw the newly acquired hospital. Under Dr Kelvin's leadership, Pantai Hospital Laguna Merbok more than doubled its number of licensed beds, enabling it to serve more patients.
Prior to joining IHH Healthcare Malaysia, Dr Kelvin was a house officer in Penang General Hospital and a Medical Officer at Hospital Sungai Bakap.
